New semester, new students

This past week we welcomed our new group of students into the training program at the aquarium. They are a very bright bunch, I think we are in for a very good semester!!!

Laurel

I am very sad to say that today Laurel passed away. I am extremely grateful for the time I had working with her, she was an amazing animal.

New Years

To celebrate the New Year Marc and I took a trip through the Highlands. We staying in Fort Williams, and had planned to ski. However the Scottish winds were to strong, so we ended up just hiking and visiting a small zoo we came across. But that turned out to be a highlight as we got to feed a baby coo :)
