This week has gone by so quickly, I have so much to catch up and post. Emily, a high school buddy, has come up for a visit to explore Ireland and Scotland over the next few weeks. Marc will join us for the weekend in Ireland, where we will meet up with another friend from high school, Travis.
Emily's first day in Scotland we toured Edinburgh. Walked through downtown, visited the history museum, ate at the spot that inspired Harry Potter. And then went through the Edinburgh castle. We saw Mary Queen of Scots crown and sceptar, and the stone of destiny. It was very impressive, a small city could function in the castle.
Marc met up with us for a lovely stroll at the base of the castle, and at sunset we hiked up Arthur's seat to get some beautiful views of the cities night life.
