On Tuesday, Emily and I went and explored Inverness, set alongside Lochness. A very nice little town, with a poorly labelled bus system. Despite difficulties of having to catch an unposted bus, we made it up to the Lochness experience (an education center about the myth of the Lochness monster). Lots of scientific explanations for the sightings, the most amusing of which is that at times deer like to swim across the loch, and their silhouette explains nessies outline. We found a wonderful trial and hiked a few miles to view the loch from a private beach, and got a nice scenic view of Uroqhart castle on the way.
