The boboli gardens is a large (and steeply uphill) park complete with a series of 16th to 18th century sculpture. It is tucked behind the pitti palace, where we were treated with a costume museum (complete with native american museum), a modern art museum (which was modern in comparison to the sculptures with pieces from throughout the 20th century but not the new questionable art from the last few decades), and much more. We only made it through a fraction of all the museums and displays around the gardens.
