Iceland!

Iceland has been wonderful!  Great traveling companions, stunning scenery, and gorgeous weather. Couldn’t have been better!

Our first day in Iceland we wandered around the capital (which happens to also be the northernmost capital of the world).  It is really very small, especially since it houses about 60% of icelands population.  But then again, Iceland is about the size of Kentucky with only 7% of its population.  We met an Icelandic sheep dog in our wanderings (super cute!). 

A highlight of the city was all the street art, it was very reminiscent of Belfast. 

And of course we made our way to the great concrete church.  Very modern and plain (not at all ornate), but a great view from the top!  We had great weather the entire trip, and the sunsets were spectacular.
